“So much of individual therapy feels self-specific. It felt really good to get together with a group of other people who are going through similar things and work together in a focused way. The session content gave me so much food for thought, probably for the next several months. The entire weekend was so fruitful, and being able to spend it in beautiful surroundings was icing on the cake.”
This sounds great....

Keisha Bryan, LCSW, LCAS
Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). I am a graduate of the School of Social Work at East Carolina University with a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Social Work.
I have over 15 years worth of experience throughout inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals that suffer from addiction (alcohol, drugs and gambling) and mental health issues. She has led groups and seminars on a variety of topics including: the impact of addictions on family members, stress management, divorce recovery, pregnancy/postpartum care, and depression.
But in addition to being a mental health therapist, I am a human being and I also deal with aversion to vulnerability, shame and various other human emotions. Brené’s research really helped me when my life was less than stellar.
I was first introduced to Dr. Brené Brown via her appearance on the OWN network. Immediately after watching Brené’s appearance on OWN’s SuperSoul Sunday, I immediately (like that same night) went to my local bookstore to purchase the book Daring Greatly . That book changed the way that I thought about shame and authentic living.
Utilizing The Daring Way ™, I have been able to help my clients release shame, perfectionism and walk into a place of authentic living.
